COP CAR Project

Postby B3NZ0 » 08 Feb 2012 18:55

Hey guys!

I've nearly complete my cop car. I'm about 90% of the way. All that's left is all the small things. I've just updated the pics on my facey page but will upload here aswell. It is what it is. A work in progress. It's messy as, so planning to rebuid another when i'm done with this. Forgive me, as I didn't wipe down the body or cleaned up the glue. lol!

PROGRESS:
Bullbar finished and attached
Flood lights attached (front)
Light bar finished and attached
Lights and light buckets finished attached
Decals finished

TO DO:
Clean insides of head lights and add diffusers for light shields
Take out wing posts on boot and flatten
Tint windows
Print decals

If anyone is keen, i'll make Lightbar and Bullbar tutorials when i've completed this!

Shot guys!

Yeah bo! Scored them at a chinese shop in the mall. $1 dollar each. Tape the trigger to release the gas. Takes a couple of minutes. Then all the bits and pieces can be pulled off with pliers. The trouble though is only ONE side is flat. The other side is shaped like a V (flat side up) so i've got mine flat side down as you can see in the last pic.

You can get the wheels on ebay. Can I put a link here??? Or must I put it in Parts Thread!?

They'll take like 9 days to arrive. Alot more cheaper than on trade me. I know some traders want to get their money back but realistically... lol! It can be done though. Once you get these bro... oniss tah hu you'll be, "Damage!" and listening to Snopp Dogg & Doors remix "Riderz On A Storm"

Cos I do... everytime i'm tinkering away...

Thats wicked dude nice work, very creative and excellent idea using lighters for your light bar,
The nudge bar on the front is choice as well.... will it be able to stand up to the nudges??

Thanks bro!

Yeah, the lighter idea came to on lunch break when I saw them in a dairy then I said to one of the boyz, "Bro! You can make those into Police Light bars!" hahaha! In my mid it worked but have to think about it heaps before commencing.

As for the bullbar, dunno yet though it was more looks... but then again there's the temptation of doing more than a little "nudging" hahahaha!
