No Probs man anything to feed the sickness for the bros, cheers for the loan of your Lipo to

Yesterday didnt have the same turnout as the first Summer Jams actually it was down by half but we made the most of who we had running one comp with a full field of 8 with one person to spare who dropped out because of car troubles. The prizes for this round were alot better also having a couple of bodies donated from one of the regulars John Miller and a body rims & tyres donated by Xratd of 07D and a signed MadMike poster donated by Chris ( Bling ) of the CDT, so first and second place were in for some good prizes and because of the low numbers and the mixed experience of the field there was plenty of chances to get your hands on one of the great prizes up for grabs, and with two of the Veterans of the sport judging Kev & Dave it was definately anyones comp.

Qualifying was messy showing that the nerves still play a big part in trying to get to the top with those who shouldve shined falling behind and those with less experience in the comp arena really steppin up... We had x3 qualifying rounds with the two best scores from the 3 rounds being added together and the worst score was dropped, the first round of qualifying for everybody seemed a bit shaky as I said even with the smaller crowd the competitors nerves still got the better of them but you definately saw people get more comfortable as the qualifying rounds went on now we ran the same track as last summer jams so apart from the two noobs to the rest of the field the track was familiar territory.

Qualifying Positions

1. Steve ( CDT ) , Chassis: Express Pro ( 2nd Place CDZ summer jam 1 Pro section )
2. Brenton ( CDT ) , Chassis: HPI Pro D
3. Chris ( CDT ) , Chassis: TA05
4. Paul ( 07D ) , Chassis: TA05 IFS
5. John , Chassis: TA05 MS ( 1st Place CDZ summer jam 1 rookie section )
6. Tyler , Chassis: TT01-D ( 2nd Place CDZ summer jam 1 rookie section )
7. Raymond , Chassis: Kyosho
8. Mark , Chassis: TB03
9. Sam , Chassis: TB02 / DNF

Battles:

First round:

Steve Vs Mark, Brenton Vs Raymond, Chris Vs John, Paul Vs Tyler,

Second round:

Steve Vs Paul, Brenton Vs Chris

Finals:

Steve VS Brenton

Now there were alot of close battles today but Steves last second muck up meant I got to come away with the win he made me work for it though, but its all for fun so I've decided to donate my prize to the next round.

3rd place was Chris ( Bling ) & 4th Place was Paul ( Nine )

Thanks again to all those that came it was a pretty sweet relaxed day and as usual alot of fun!!

Also thanks to those who donated time and prizes chur!!

I Look forward to the next one... Pencil it in guys next one Sunday March the 7th.

See ya there....

Stuff the pics we were all to busy racin and judging, you wanna see what goes on why not try turning up to the event. Had lots of people say they would be there and didnt show, shame really because good turn outs are what determines future events and the more money we get thru the door determine the prizes + the generous people who donate prizes of course, so cheers to those who did show up and to those who let me know that they werent goin to make it I really appreciate it as it helps me plan better.
And mass props to Raymond his first time at CDZ & first comp and he unfortunately drew me to challenge him in the first round he put up a bloody good fight for his first comp Chur bro!!! & he managed to walk away with a free pass for being best newcomer on the day so man always plenty of chances to win.
