no disrespect but i think your pushing it trying to get one for 1700 :S theyre so wanted now that even rubbish ones fetch a hefty price. mate bought an ae85 coupe trueno (exactly the same as one pictured, just has the shitty 1500cc engine) for something silly like 7grand...
but who knows, keep waiting and you might find a steal

i have to agree, i saw a guy sell a front end of these for about 3g, attached to a written off rear... of course the front suspension was worth a bit, but they are collectors now... you could maybe find a stripped shell for that price, not to be a dick head or anything, cause i love them, but seriously they are stupid money these days... dont mean to sound like i am bagging your idea...
