im making a trailer and im wondering if anyone out there has any ideas on how to make an axle or what to use for an axle.
or any other tips or ideas to use for constructing it

Just use a 4mm bolt or something similar with a thread. Put a hex on and then the wheel then the nut

If you wanna get flash, then some 4mm stainless rod from Steel & Tube, and cut the thread yourself using a die

Drill a hole for the cross pin and nip the hex up, bam, done, tricky, but would look flash
