RC Crawlers

Postby R.Parsons » 12 Dec 2011 21:26

Hey guys, i know a few people on here used to dabble in a bit of crawling and just wondering who still does, or even still has theirs?

Reason being that im kind of starting to get a bit hooked after having a few goes with some of the other Waikato guys ones. Im planning to get a kit once xmas hols are out of the way. Havnt decided which brand or model im going to get yet. The Venom seems to be extremely good bang for buck. the axial can only get in artr form now but maybe still worth it. the body they come with dusnt bother me much as il be grabbing a tamiya hilux body to put on it anyways.

Just thort id put it out there. See if anyone is still doing this on here or if theres an actual nz crawler site etc. i have been checking out rccrawler.com etc which is getting me even more interested lol.

so far iv only seen them in stock on u.s shop sites. but they are genuine tamiya parts so i was thinking il email speedi with the part numbers and see if he can get them for me from tamiya. i worked it out it would be around 70usd for all the parts that make up that body not including shipping tho lol. i suppose thats not too bad since not much higher than a yokomo drift body but full plastic and super realistic detail etc.

il let you know what speedi comes back with, im not in a rush for one just yet cus wont be able to afford the crawler to actually put it on till after xmas/newyears holidays hahah. will have to get some proper pay days under the belt again first.
