u can buy tyres with sparks in them which are crappy, i brought a survival flint(trade me) that when you strike it sparks, cut it into 5mm lengths (with massive sparks whilst cutting) then drill holes into the tyres the same size as the rod and push them in, with 8 of them in each wheel theres continuous sparks like your drifting on metal rims very cool. hope that helps

ive made 8 with orange cones and made another 8 with green cones i often pratice with them in the street with the lights of the car it does look cool. Ive got no problems using them for a group night drift at some stage.

hell yeah thats the way to do it, those 3racing ones look good but dont spark near enuf. What about those yokomo rubber drift wheels that have the plastic rings that go around them, try n make a shim style washer out of flint that sits next to a ring? perhaps

i dont think it would be that easy to get the flint material the same size as the wheel and then lathe it into a washer but there would be massive sparks while cutting it!! Ive tried putting titanium and magnesium strips into the wheels to get different colour sparks, the magnesium gave of a bright white light, that was cool  And as you know dave getting smoke coming out is a difficult thing and you do risk burning you car to the ground :|
