HPI Savage x 3.5 1 Wheel spin

Hi All - A mate pointed me in the direction of this forum before trying a Hobby Shop - Swears by the help on here.

I have an HPI Racing Savage x 3.5, I got it of a client as part payment for a job, knowing full well my little fella would love it (me too).

So far I've replaced two of the wheels after baking some tyres in the oven to get them off cracked and broken rims, replaced the glow plug and the pull start as it was snapped. The car was running fine yesterday no issues, today I started it with no issues continued to drive in the oval pattern trying to run the engine in and noticed it slowing down... I lifted the rears off the ground and found that only 1 wheel would spin freely while the other would barely move.

I've no idea why, it's hard to turn the wheels by hand whilst the other rear moves freely. Any thoughts??

something is stopping the wheel moving, like a seized wheel bearing or broken diff. If you can take the drive shaft out of the wheel that doesnt move and the wheel spins freely its the diff, if the wheel is still stiff without the drive shaft its a bearing or something is rubbing. let us know how u get on.
