Cool dude, thats all i used to do also b4 the tape. if its acetone your using to eat the glue then just be careful cus it will eat some rims aswell. otherwise if its just a generic c.a glue solvent then mean!
glueing is all good for 50/50 but if you ever get into c/s above say 1.8 etc then will need something a bit stronger especially on the rear tyres. on longer sessions the rears heat up enuff that the glue just cracks up...nek minnut.......tyre slipping. haha.
