Hamilton Radio Control Car Club was established in 1989 and has grown to become one of the largest clubs in the country, catering for all types of on-road and off-road vehicles in the huge halls of the Claudlands Showgrounds in Hamilton East.
Track surfaces can vary from concrete to hotmix depending on hall availability. Track construction is generally made from heavy duty plastic pipe and corner markers. AMB lapcounting is provided.
The Hamilton club also hosts the popular Indoor Drivers Series each year, ensuring racers can keep up their skills over the winter period.

Directions
From the North: Drive along State Highway 1 to the roundabout where SH1 turns right, and instead of following SH1 drive straight through onto Highway 4. Drive through the next roundabout and at the third set of lights, turn left onto Highway 9 (Boundry Road). Continue on Highway 9, and at the first roundabout you come to, turn right onto Highway 6 (Heapy Terrace). At the next set of lights, take the free turn right onto Brooklyn Road. The gates to the Claudlands Showgrounds come up on the left. Enter and turn right, following the road around the building to where racing is usually held.
